My name is Andria Greaves and welcome to my website.
I've been working as a journalist for more than ten years and I can do a news feature and provide an
article on any news and current affairs subject, ranging from a couple's Golden Wedding Anniversary
to composing thought-provoking and challenging articles, ranging from sweatshops to setting the template of
speaking to mothers about the pain of losing their sons to gun violence, the effect on their siblings
and what should be done to put such bloodshed to an end.
The places I've worked at vary. On the broadcast side, I've worked at:
BBC, Choice FM news, GMTV, UBC Media, news agency APTN.
On the Print side, I've worked at:
Sunday Mirror, Pride magazine, Metro newspapers (MTG), Wembley Observer, North West London Newspapers - which includes the Willesden and Brent Chronicle, the Kilburn Times and the Hammersmith & Fulham Times.
I'm a hard-working, committed and passionate journalist and broadcaster, who's a self starter, has plenty of ideas and never comes back empty-handed. I also have the ability to speak to people/communities who usually wouldn't speak to the media.
I know how to find a news story, have a good and up-to-date contacts book and I have excellent touch and audio typing skills.
I also have plenty of ghost-writing experience.
As a journalist, I have worked from as far as Newcastle to central London, never losing focus on
the story. I'm not a clock-watcher and always provide value for money.
I attended the University of Westminster, where I earned a MA in Journalism Studies, with merit, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. I am currently completing a MA in Journalism, Broadcast pathway at University of Westminster.
